Mid-October Updates

April has been very busy the last few weeks!

First, she joined Officer Cappelen at RPD for a ride-along on September 27th. It was a great opportunity to learn more about the day to day work of our local law enforcement.

April got to appreciate the work of local artists in District 3 at Chalk the Block on September 28th.

On September 29th, April enjoyed the Ethiopian Festival with Randy Schubring and engaged with local leaders.

Last week, she toured affordable housing projects in SE MN.

April also attended the Cradle to Career Summit which seeks to engage youth participants in their Hopes and Dreams assessment.

She celebrated 10 years of Reading Champions, the picture below is with the founders.

Yesterday, she planted trees with RNeighbors in SE Rochester.

April continues to canvas the district and door knocks most days. If you see her out on her bike, make sure to wave!

Thank you to everyone who has already voted for April and please continue to encourage your friends and neighbors to vote for her as well!
