I continue to meet interesting and involved people as I door knock. Mark shared that he’s pleased with my forward thinking and future focus. One resident donated her 19th gallon last week while another still had a blood donor band aid on his arm—thanks for the life-giving donations! Margie hosted a meet the candidate with 12 neighbors where we discussed policy and issues. Several renters shared concerns about making ends meet as their rents increased $500 over the past two years. Saturday my Rotary Club helped RNeighbors plant 125 trees in the neighborhood just off Marian Road. Many creative Halloween and fall decorations brighten the neighborhoods.
