Tuesday August 13th is the primary election. Make sure to get out and vote if you haven't already and encourage your friends and neighbors to vote as well.
April has been busy door knocking and meeting voters the past few weeks! Below is a summary of what she's been up to leading up to the primary.
League of Women Voters Forum held at Rochester Public Library on July 22nd found the 3 candidates sharing points of view on questions posed by PB, Chamber, League and audience members. View our strong showing here.
National Night Out AKA Night to Unite—April visited 7 events across the district. It was great to connect with so many neighbors and be a part of everyone enjoying food and fellowship. Getting to know neighbors builds community resiliency.
Public Health Community Needs Assessment team met in August continuing our work analyzing financial stress data of Olmsted County residents plus health risk factors.

Racism, hate speech, and acts of violence against others has no place in our community. April participated in the anti-racism forum NOT in Our Town. Join the movement!
April and her walking team enjoy meeting you at your home as we traverse the district. We receive positive responses in all neighborhoods. The momentum building continues!

Primary Voting ends August 13. Many of you have told me you took advantage of early voting while others prefer voting in person. Encourage your connections to vote by August 13.
